About the event

BOOK NOW

Join Phoebe for an afternoon of designing flowers & foliage into a beautiful botanical print mandala using inks & paper.

Mandala, meaning circle in Sanskrit, is a geometric design organised around a unifying centre. Botanical mandalas reflect the circle of life and are a symbol of the ever changing seasons we face throughout life.

Participants are provided with all materials to design a botanical mandala print, using fresh flowers & foliage that will be pressed into ink and then transferred to thick artist paper stock.

Beginning with a relaxing guided meditation to calm the nervous system, participants are then guided through the meditative process of working with natural items to design their own botanical print mandala, followed by sharing & reflecting our experience & creations within the group once designs are complete.

Included in the workshop ticket:

  • A guided meditation
  • A sensory experience using natural materials
  • An A4 sized artwork to take home
  • Herbal tea
  • Space to relax, reflect and to like minded people

What to bring:

  • Clothes that can get dirty/ink on them, or an apron
  • Optional: journal to record any ideas, thoughts or feelings that arise
