FROM REGIONAL AUSTRALIAN TO EUROPE

An Australian artist abroad creating natural inks and gifting them to local artists across Europe and The United Kingdom. This project began in 2019 in the Moreton Bay Region in South East Queensland. Chelsea received an RADF grant to create a foraged colour for each suburb in the region, she created 92 colours in 2020 by the close of the initial project. 

Since the close of the RADF project, Chelsea has showcased the series of pigments, inks and studies at The Churn Room for her artist residency in 2023. Chelsea has facilitated botanical inks workshops at events and venues from 2021 to 2024. It is her belief that sharing knowledge of these skills will help more people to find the joy of slow, mindful and sustainable art.
